Rest in Peace

Robert G Bamann

5/11/31 - 11/28/21

Our friend Robert George Bamann has gone home to the Lord.

It is never easy to lose a friend and family member but the Good Lord was watching over Bob and called him home to heaven rather than let him continue on his journey of pain and confusion.

Bob was a past Fire Chief, past Fire Commissioner and Past Fire District Treasurer.  All of us in the Fire District, especially the members of Company Two, have lost a very dedicated individual.

1)  Our friend Bob Bamann died during the night on Sunday, November 28th.  Bob had been a resident at the Saint John's Home since September.

2)  At the family's request, there will be no Calling Hours.

3) Bob's Funeral Mass will be at the Saint Margaret Mary's Church on Rogers Parkway this Saturday, December 4th at 9:30.  As Bob was a member, firefighters are encouraged to wear their Class A uniform (or business casual) to church.

4)  The family has extended an invitation to all at the Exempts Club after the internment at Irondequoit Cemetery.

5)  May Bob rest in  peace and may the Good Lord look after Elaine and her family.
